The Birth of Amanda
Hello world.
My name is Amanda and this is the beginning of my life. I was born on February 11, 2007 (8:35AM) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s delivery room. Mom and Dad checked in the hospital Saturday afternoon. Mom said the pain was so intensed that she had to be drugged. At 8:00AM Sunday, the birth process began. Maybe I have a big head, but I was stuck for some time. Mom kept pushing, but I could shake free.
With one last push, I entered the world. The mid-wife caught and then handed me to the nurse for a wipe down.
My experience at the hospital was excellent. They took great care of mommy and helped her in the recovery.
